Alerts provides automatic, real-time notification for changes in your origin infrastructure and information delivery patterns.
The Alert functionality is based on the company's state-of-the-art monitoring technology that is used to monitor the network. This proven, reliable, and secure technology keeps continual watch over enterprises' origin infrastructure and information delivery patterns and directly informs you when pre-defined thresholds have been crossed.
Procedure
Alerts can be configured for each product on the Luna Control Center. First, set up a condition to monitor, for example network traffic (e.g., high traffic over a specified threshold) or infrastructure (e.g., origin server failure), and indicate the threshold that will trigger an alert. When Alerts detects the occurrence of the condition you specified, you'll receive a notification e-mail. In addition, Alerts sends you an e-mail when the condition clears.
To configure a new alert:
Navigate to Configure > Alerts
Select the product for which you would like to configure the alert
Click 'View all configured alerts
Click 'Add alert'
Click on the type of alert you would like to create
